Chirk Castle Relays 2026 –

A picturesque relay race in National Trust grounds around Chirk Castle.
Entry Fees: Team entry .
Each team consists of three runners. Each will run one lap of the approximate 2 mile course. Teams can be made up of 3 men, 3 women, 2 men & 1 women or 2 women & 1 man. Also a junior team in any combination of runners aged 14 years to 17 years.
Prizes to Men’s 1st, 2nd & 3rd, Women’s 1st, 2nd & 3rd, Mixed 1st, 2nd & 3rd, & Junior 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
Only one entry is required for the team. The team lead enters all three runners using the “Manage People” function and makes a single payment for the team.

Mynydd Myfyr – Sunday 24th May 2026
A great introduction to off-road running and racing. Approximately 6.5 Kilometres (4 miles) of mixed terrain on trail paths, through farmland and wooded areas and country lanes including climbs totalling 150 metres plus (500ft). Supporting the delightful Trefonen Hill Walk Weekend, which raises funds for various charities. Prizes for first 3 Men and Women plus age group prizes 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+ Venue is Trefonen Village Hall, SY10 9DY. Entry on the day only, £7. FRA rules apply. Start time 11:00

Park Hall 5k – 19th June 2026
Park Hall 5km race has been going for over 40 years and is as welcoming to all abilities this year as it has always been. At just over 3 miles on the level roads and pavements around Park Hall, it’s ideal as a first race or just for judging your speed over a short distance. Come along and enjoy a summer evening run and maybe your PB time!
Prizes for first 3 Men and Women and first Junior (under 18) Man and Woman, plus 5 year age group prizes starting from 35+ for women and 40+ for Men.

Approximately 10.6km/6.6miles with 350m/1150ft of ascent, mixed terrain run on country lane, track and field. Start from Rhiwlas Community Centre, SY10 7JH. Entries on the day only (£7) Start time: 7pm

Rhydycroesau Fell Run – Saturday 2026 -22nd August
A 5.5 mile multi terrain fell run. starting and finishing in the heart of a traditional country village show. A small section of tarmac and then tracks,paths and fields take you up to the Pen y Gwely reservoir through beautiful borderland countryside SY10 7PS. Entry on the day Start time: 1:15pm
